“Do not merely look out for you own personal interests, but also the interest of others” - Philippians 2:4
Who we are
Sharing Lives is a charity offering befriending and low-level support to isolated and vulnerable adults in the Kingston, Tolworth, Chessington and Epsom areas of North Surrey. The befriending firstly takes the form of regular home visiting and staying in touch in a way that suits the individual. We also run a weekly Men’s Shed service that encourages men to make useful things for the community. The Community Garden is a place where folk can relax, chat, read or spend time in quiet.
These last two areas highlight our connection with The King’s Church, Chessington, where the Men’s Shed and the Community Garden are located.
Our volunteers are all Christians, drawn from various local churches. All our volunteers are DBS-checked and interviewed before acceptance.
